Our Lead Handler
Born and raised on the North Shore, I’ve had a pronounced love for animals for as long as I can remember. As a child I spent countless afternoons riding my horse through the North Vancouver trails where I now take the dogs. I started my company in January of 2012. My love of dogs and the outdoors make this the ideal vocation for me, and I’m so grateful to be able to indulge both passions through my work at Offleash.
I have many years of experience working with large groups of dogs and pay a close attention to body language and group dynamics when out on the trails. I believe in a balanced, force-free approach when working with dogs which has paid off with many happy clients and their pups over the years. I also have two certifications in pet first aid, and am always looking to update my knowledge and skills in order to stay up to date with the latest techniques and philosophies in dog handling and training.
